The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education's (ACGME) 2021-2022 Data Resource Book reviews the size, scope and distribution of GME in the United States from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022. A total of 12,740 accredited programs were counted, including 5,579 specialty programs and 7,161 subspecialty programs.

Researchers evaluated how participants perceived a rapidly deployed and modified tele-education program to improve healthcare providers' readiness for COVID-19 in rural Idaho. The authors invited the participation of primary care providers and healthcare stakeholders in the ECHO Idaho Infectious Disease COVID-19 session in March 2020.
