Considerations for Faculty and Presenters in Interprofessional Continuing Education

Researchers recommend that interprofessional (IP) continuing education (IPCE) faculty and presenters provide activities designed to augment collaboration and enhance health outcomes. The authors note that evidence indicates that teamwork, care delivery and patient outcomes can all benefit from IPCE. They also suggest that continuing professional development/IPCE faculty and presenters should be well-versed in IPCE principles, and know to enable an IP team's learning process.
