This study examined the experiences and perceptions of remote learning on surgeons and surgical trainees during the COVID-19 pandemic. The scoping review included 44 peer-reviewed studies of postgraduate surgical education: 21 that assessed perceptions of a new e-learning tool or platform, 17 that were surveys of surgeons attitudes of remote learning during this time, and 6 that evaluated the knowledge or skills gained through new e-learning during the pandemic.
