Coming this July: ACCME and the American Board of Preventive Medicine Collaborate to Streamline Diplomate CME/CCP Credit Reporting

ACCME News Release (06/23/26)

The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education reports that the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM) has joined its CME for MOC/CC Collaboration, enabling digital reporting of CME and Continuous Certification Program (CCP) credits to streamline tracking for diplomates. Through this partnership, ABPM diplomates can use CME Passport to find eligible activities, while accredited providers can register activities in PARS/JA-PARS and report completions so credits are automatically applied to CCP requirements. Ahead of the July launch, providers are encouraged to ensure activities meet ABPM criteria, assign relevant practice areas and credit types, and use PARS/JA-PARS for registration and reporting. The collaboration aims to simplify CME reporting, improve accessibility, and support a more efficient certification ecosystem for ABPM diplomates.
