American Nurses Credentialing Center Accreditation: Professional Development and Practice Summit — Leading Learning

The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) last year announced that its Accreditation programs — including Nursing Continuing Professional Development Accreditation, Joint Accreditation, Practice Transition Accreditation Program, and Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship Accreditation — would merge their annual events into one unified experience. This new flagship gathering, the ANCC Professional Development and Practice Summit, is scheduled for spring 2026 and is designed to bring together diverse communities of practice and stakeholders under a single umbrella. The initiative aims to strengthen collaboration, streamline engagement, and enhance the collective impact of ANCC Accreditation programs. In this column, researchers highlight both the purpose of the summit and the anticipated benefits for attendees.
