Alabama Board of Medical Examiners Joins ACCME and State Medical Licensing Boards Collaboration

ACCME Highlights (06/21/22)

The Alabama Board of Medical Examiners (ALBME) has joined the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and State Medical Licensing Boards Collaboration. CME activity providers can report data about the credit that Alabama licensees have gained through ACCME's Program and Activity Reporting System. ALBME can access this information to more easily ascertain that doctors requesting license renewals have met Alabama's CME participation requirements. This will significantly simplify the process for physician-learners and for the board's audit review protocol.
