5 Licensing Boards Join Data Collaboration With ACCME

The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and State Medical Licensing Boards Collaboration has added five new licensing boards to its roster. With the Alaska State Medical Board, DC Health, Mississippi Board of Medical Licensure, New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners and Wyoming Board of Medicine, a total of 16 licensing boards have now designated ACCME's Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) as their main source for CME information needed for relicensure, or actively use it. The program seeks to reduce burdens and simplify the CME reporting process for learners who are licensed physicians in these areas.
